A professional quality wood cutting bandsaw with all of the advanced features you would expect to find on an industrial machine.
450mm (18") diameter balanced wheels and a powerful 2200w (3hp) induction motor give this saw serious cutting capacities ideal for a production workshop or ambitious woodturner, yet it can be plugged into any standard 13amp supply.
The angle of the heavy cast iron table is adjusted by a handle at the rear and the work is guided by either a quick action rip fence, with a scale in both metric and imperial, or a well made sliding mitre fence for crosscutting. Setting the blade tension correctly is made simple with the addition of a quick release lever and a tension indicator. A viewing window is located in the top door for checking the blade tension. A second viewing window, located on the side of the machine, is used to check the running position of the blade relative to the crown of the wheel.
Micro switches located on each door, cut power to the machine in case it is inadvertantly started with the doors open.
As we grow ever more conscious of dust control, this bandsaw has 2 collection points. One 100mm diameter outlet just below the table and a further 100mm diameter outlet at the base of the frame. For best results, both outlets should be connected to a duste collector.
The addition of a wheel kit, gives the user complete freedom to move the bandsaw around any workshop with a reasonably flat floor.
